WHAT MACHINES ARE USED? SlantBox V17. Similar to P1P or MK4 machines. 220x220x220 build volume. Textured Build Plate
IS SHIPSTATION REQUIRED? Yes. ShipStation is our integration partner. You will need a ShipStation account to use Teleport.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING? Yes, we ship internationally. This lets you take your store worldwide.
HOW DO I UPLOAD A FILE FOR MY SHOPIFY STORE? Once you have added the Slant app to your shopify, on the left hand side click the Slant 3D app, then again on the left hand side click "files", follow the prompts to upload your STL. file
HOW MUCH WILL YOUR SHOPIFY APP COST ME? Our Shopify app is $9/month
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SHIP MY PRINT ON DEMAND PRODUCT? Shipping cost is automatically calculated at the time of shipping. In general you can estimate shipping to be about $5 for anything under 1LB and about $11 for anything over 1 LB. But this does vary based on object and distance
WHAT IS THE BUILD SIZE FOR PRINT ON DEMAND ORDERS? The build plate size is 220mm X 220mm X 220mm or 8.6in X 8.6in X 8.6in
HOW DO I KNOW THE PRICING OF MY PRODUCT? Once your products are matched to files, you will be able to see the cost of the product
HOW LONG UNTIL MY ORDER IS SHIPPED? At Slant POD our goal is to print and ship your order in under 5 days. Our current print time is 3-5 business days
WILL YOU ASSEMBLE MY PRODUCT AFTER PRINTING? We do not assemble print on demand products due to the high volume of prints we make daily, while maintaining our turn around time.
COST? Each file is instantly quoted to at upload. Total = CostToPrint + Shipping
PACKAGING? Standard Brown Cardboard Box, Paper padding material. Small Parts Bagged
TIME TO SHIP? 1-2 days, normally. Up to 5 days for large parts, peak season and complicated parts.
ARE PARTS INSPECTED? Of course! Every part is inspected in our QC process. We take quality very seriously. We would rather delay a print then let a bad one go out.
WHAT FILAMENT TYPES & COLORS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PRINT ON DEMAND? PLA: glossy black, matte black, white, grey, red, yellow, gold PETG: white and glossy black
HOW DO I MATCH DIFFERENT PRODUCTS & SETTINGS? Login into Etsy or Shopify, select your product, add variants, set up SKUs, then open our plugin and upload your files, match the files to the SKUs you created, select material and color, and finally create the match
HOW MUCH WILL YOUR ETSY PLUGIN COST ME? Our Etsy plugin is free to use, optional premium features will be available at a later date
SHIPSTATION, WHAT IS IT AND HOW DO I USE IT? ShipStation is a shipping platform that easily connects to your store. To use: create a ShipStation account, go to account settings, on the sidebar click "selling channels", click "connect a store or marketplace", choose the store platform you want to connect, follow the on-screen directions to add your store
WHAT ARE SOME SITES I CAN USE TO PURCHASE STL. FILES? First thing when looking for STL. files to purchase is to make sure they can be used commercially if you plan to sell them in your shop. Sites have separate commercial listings or filters that help you locate which ones you can use to sell. Here are some sites: CGTrader, MyMiniFactory, Thingiverse, Pateron, Etsy, Cults 3D, TurboSquid (Slant POD does not recommend one site over another)
WHAT FILE TYPES CAN I PROTOTYPE WITH ON THE APP OR PLUGIN? Only a STL. file must be used with both the app and plugin
HOW DO I UPLOAD A FILE FOR MY ETSY STORE? Once your store is connected to our plugin, you will click "files" on the left hand side, then select the STL. file you wish to upload, then click "upload", you will see your uploaded file, under "files" on the left hand side menu.
WILL YOU PAINT MY PRINT ON DEMAND PRODUCT? To maintain our ability to ship in under 5 days, we do not paint any 3D printed product here at Slant.
HOW WILL SUPPORTS BE USED AND HANDLED ON MY PRINT ON DEMAND ITEM? If your STL. file already contains the supports, that is how it will print. If we think your product would do better with supports, we can add those. All supports are removed carefully during our post production processing.
